Thievery kings of chill out music

No doubts that Thievery is the undeniable leader of Electro Chillout Music. In 2006 like Dj Krush, Thievery came up with a remix album. But not their own songs. Songs from other artists like: Nouvelle Vague, Astrud Gilberto, Emilie Simon and and The doors. Yes you've heard it the doors. The untouchables. No one would have risk a remix of Jim Morrisson. Thievery didn't just remixed him, they brought him to another level, the level of their music. "Strange Days" is like a rare bottle of wine, it is priceless.

New Krush

After Jaku time for Dj Krush to have a break in his inventions in music and come up with a new remix album: Stepping stones. This album featuring Dj Shadow, Opus, Zap Mama Mos def ... brings a new electronic punch into Krush's music, a fresh ambiance to the past songs remixed in this album. Like some songs from his best album (personal point of view) Zen: Duck Chase, Day's End and Vision of art, are terrific. To be heared absolutely.

Gilles Peterson

For the ones who are always deceived by Chill Out Electronic music whitch turns out to be more Elevator music than good chill out music here is the answer to your deception: Mr Gilles Peterson. His series of album "Worlwide" are a diamond of good electronic music. You can send your Buddha bar and other collections to the bean.
Gilles Peterson is an influential DJ and record-label owner from London, UK. Through his labels Acid Jazz and Talkin' Loud he has been associated with the careers of countless well-known artists of the 1990s. He is also well known as a radio DJ: he used to have a radio show on London's Kiss FM dance music station, but was recruited to the BBC's youth-oriented Radio 1 in 1998. Peterson is known for his eclectic musical selections. Though not as "anything goes" as the late John Peel, he plays anything from dub and reggae through jazz, nu-jazz, soul, neo soul, R&B to drum and bass, house, broken beat, hip-hop and Jazz-funk.

Widely acclaimed as a musical tastemaker, spreading his influence on music listeners around the world mostly through his Worldwide radio show, on BBC Radio 1 which is also broadcast live from the Radio 1 website, and frequent gigs around the world. He has recently started a new record label called Brownswood - named after the house he had to move out of after his record collection became too big, and which now acts as a warehouse for his enormous collection of vinyl.

Everything is illuminated

Good movie in witch the soundtrack is incredible. Based on the novel "Everything Is Illuminated" by Johnathan Safran Foer

Synopsis: A young American Jewish man goes on a quest to find the woman who saved his grandfather--in a small Ukrainian town that was wiped off the map by the Nazi invasion. The journey begins as a comic nightmare, with an eccentric trio of paid “expert” guides sorely lacking in expertise; a cranky grandfather who insists on bringing his unruly seeing-eye dog to help him drive; and his over-enthusiastic grandson, whose fractured command of English, passion for retro American pop culture, and inability to shut up threaten to make the worst of every situation. But what starts out as the tour from hell turns into a surprisingly meaningful journey--with an unexpected and powerful series of revelations that will indelibly change all of their lives.
